Dear MacFilmmakers,

I will be posting the raffle list to SF Cutters
Announcements
http://thetaoofmac.com/mailman/listinfo/sfcutterannounce

this evening and sending a last reminder for the Dec
3 Party Monday evening at

Adobe in SAN FRANCISCO 601 Townsend at 7th. The #10
bus goes by. There is on the street parking on
Townsend between 6th and 7th, and it is walking
distance from 4th and King Caltrain or Muni Stations.

This meeting is free, but you must pre-register, or
wait for your badge to be typed. I also cannot plan
well for refreshments without registration.

2008 meetings will be at Adobe on Townsend until
further notice, and will be the last Thurs of every
month, starting Jan 31.

We do need to make some adjustments to work with
Adobe security needs so we will need all attendees to
pay online. SF Cutters Meetings in 2008 will be $10 to
cover increased refreshment costs, and online
registration fees. SF Cutters Paid members ($50 intro
and renewable pricing) will have meeting entry
included in the yearly membership fee. At this time I
cannot take checks but will be able to before Jan 1.
Contact me about making this arrangement.

Reserve a spot for Dec 3 - its free and/or pay online
for 2008 SF Cutters Membership

We are working on some new features on the SF Cutters
website that will meet a lot of requested needs. One
of those will be that it will be much faster and
easier to update. The 2008 SF Cutters Meeting schedule
for Jan - April will be focused on core knowledge and
workflow.

Advanced Systems Group will be on hand Dec 3 to answer
questions about gear and other support from 6:30- 7:00
and during the breaks. Thanks to ASG for supporting
the food.

Matt Silverman will be showing work breakdowns from
his recent HBO project, and Kevan O'Brien will be
talking about P2 workflow in Premiere Pro, and Adobe
Media Player - a new avenue to monetize and deliver
high quality media on the web with Flash. I will give
a short "how to get there" for Mission Bay Conference
Center the location for the Jan 16th Final Cut Pro
Supermeet held during MacWorld. We are about 30% sold
out, and I hope to have this thing mostly in the box
before New Year, so I can have one holiday without
nonstop. Buy now. $10. We do not hold tickets in
reserve. Thanks so much.

Have a safe and Happy end of the year celebration,
looking forward to seeing many of you at our
activities.
