I have some stuff shot on AVCHD (1440x1080). I brought it into FCP with
ProRes422, assembled my sequences (the shortest of which is 1 hour), and
sent them to Compressor. Compressor gets to 10% then hangs while the "time
remaining" keeps climbing.
My Compressor settings are H.264 streaming, 1280x720, 30fps, multi-pass.
I've tried changing the destination to different disks with the same
results.
Is there some sort of file size limitation?
I am able to crunch other (SD) stuff using the same settings (original SD
files are <2GB while HD stuff is 60GB or more).

Any help is much appreciated.
(2 x 3GHz Quad Intel Xeon, 8GB RAM, 10.4.11, latest app updates, etc)

thanks,
Dave
