Hi, all.

We are getting a couple Macs, and my co-worker and contract engineer have
designed the headphones (requirement for one of the editors which will be
located in our office space) to be fed from the exteranl I/O device instead
of just using the Mac=B9s headphone jack. Their justification is that you
want to get the audio from the same source/device as the video. I mentione=
d
that FCP offers the option to route output audio through various connected
devices.

Has anyone experienced a synch problem when using the headphone jack when
you also have an i/o device feeding the video to an external monitor?

Oh, does FCP still have that timing adjustment for similar conditions? I
haven=B9t used FCP since 4.5!

Thanks,
Robert
