This month Director Vicki deMey will be screening
clips from her new supernatural feature, "The Dead
Sleep".

SF Cutters believes is essential not only to support
locally produced work but to gather and learn directly
from the filmmakers how they planned, what technical
concerns they encountered, and hear those details that
will make our work better. Vicki will be joined by
Robert Strong and Jeff Cheng.

Also Steve Martin will be visiting us from Ripple
Training. Steve is one of the top Apple Trainers who
conduct the T3 or Train the Trainer training in
Cupertino and Santa Monica. Steve is exciting,
knowledgeable and really knows "how to break it down".
He has trained most of the Apple Certified Trainers
on the West Coast

This month he will be talking about Soundtrack Pro -
believe me I look everywhere for someone qualified to
speak about Soundtrack Pro and all the new features
that support advanced mixing and cleanup features.
Steve is the best.

We will also host Wes Plate of Automatic Duck -
timeline translation software between Final Cut Pro
and After Effects, Pro Tools, AVID and more. This
software allows you to export your Final Cut Pro into
other software programs, and retain your edits,
keyframes, filters, composite layers etc so you can
tweak positions, color, timing etc before exporting to
final format.

 more info read: www.automaticduck.com

Additional presentations are planned including Final
Cut Server from Kris Koch of Advanced Systems Group.
