Greetings MacFilmmakers,

Just picked up an interesting gig that has pushed me into the zero REM sleep
mode for the past nine days. I have taken over production of a local
children's show called Veronica's Blog at the very last minute (let's just
say that episode one is almost finished and we began work on the sets just
last week).

That said, we are locked in to produced 12 more episodes and I am looking
for someone to work with multi-camera clips and assist us in producing a
rough cut each week. Currently we are working with the HVX200 cameras (P2
format - 720 24pn) but starting on episode 4 we will be shooting on the RED
One or 5D Mark II DSLRs. This will be a credited assistant editor position,
IMDB and end title credit with pay TBD.

We have three sets built already, plan on a few more and have a cast of
twenty great kids for this educational, Disney-channel style 3 camera
sitcom. Did I mention it will be playing on the CW44 channel, here in the
Bay Area.

Our new studio is in downtown San Jose and we are hoping for a guru who can
take the organized clips, (we have a data manager on set logging everything,
getting them in decent shape) from a cloned hard drive on Sunday evening and
return a rough cut of the program within a reasonable time, possible as
early as Tuesday morning. We know it can be done, but no question you have
to be fast.

If anyone on the MacFilmmaker's group might be interested or knows someone
who is, please have them reach out to me at the email address below, with
rates and availability.
