The event encompasses = numerous winter activities and competitions, mostly held at a local = state park. I'm a volunteer for sled dog races held at the event. I and = other volunteers regularly shoot photos and video of the event. One form we prepare every year is a waiver of liability. In order to = participate in a race, each race contestant must sign it to protect the = organizations involved in putting on the race. The one thing I noticed = when updating the waiver form for 2011 is that there is no clause for a = release for photographs and video our volunteers may shoot of the races = to use for promotional, record-keeping and fundraising purposes. Is = there any kind of general, boilerplate language I can insert into the = waiver form to cover the photo/video release issue? If so, where can I = access that language?
