On the 10.6 OS install disk is a folder of "Optional Installs"

  within is a QT 7 installer

  run that before installing FCS and the "Pro" features will be =20
enabled as FCstudio turns them on sans serial

nb: the QT 7 Player app will be installed within Applications/Utilities
   drag it onto the Dock for easy access, but be prepared to "Open =20
with=85"   (contextual menu) to ensure QT X Player isn't invoked
