I just purchased a Canon Vixia HV40 camcorder (small, prosumer HDV unit) =
and an Olympus LS-10 (very small, prosumer voice recorder). I already =
own an ultra-zoom camera (I may move to a D-SLR someday) and I use a Mac =
based editing system (Final Cut Studio).
The computer side of luggage I have covered. But the camcorder and audio =
will require new luggage. I was looking at the Multi-Media Wired Up =
Collection at Think Tank, and I was wondering if Porta-Brace offered =
anything like that, made in USA, that offers the same thoughtful =
ergonomics and design features.

I do not like Think Tank's "no rhetoric warranty", which strikes me as =
being rhetoric. And after consulting with them I learned that their =
products are made overseas.
I tend to shoot hand-held in the field ENG-style, as well as sit-down =
interviews. I'd like to find video/audio luggage for both carrying on =
hikes as well as for simple lightweight transportation of equipment to =
shoot locations. I shoot outdoor events, meetings/presentations, and =
also wildlife.
I'm on a budget, but I'd like to investigate the possibilities for down =
the road. It's possible I could acquire more equipment over time.
Made in USA is my preferred way to go, and I was wondering what folks =
thought of Porta Brace products. I've never tried them before. Does =
Porta Brace offer anything like the Multi-Media Wired Up Collection? =
Are there any other USA outfits you would recommend?
